We are a team of Veterans and Friends Organization that is managed by Disabled Veterans who understands the trials and hardship each Veteran Family endures. We are here for you and your family to assist with helping you connect with community resources.

Please support our organization as we provide essential meals to disabled Veterans and their families through our Homebound Nutrition Delivery Services. Just a small donation of $25 can help us reach our goal of feeding over 100 families throughout Northeastern and Central Ohio. Your contribution directly impacts veterans facing challenges with basic living needs, including food security. Donations help cover the cost of food box deliveries, utility bills, and fuel, ensuring that each family can maintain a safe and stable environment. Together, we can make a lasting and meaningful difference in their lives, creating hope for a brighter future.

Urgent Cause

Raise funds for Veterans and Families

The 2020 Ohio State Census Bureau has over 450,000 Veterans that are homeowners. 30% of them suffer from a disability. Many people believe if you are a Veteran your Health Care is paid 100%. That is not true, unless your injuries or illnesses are rated 100% service connected or the Veteran completed 20 years of service and retired with a Honorable Discharge. This leaves many Veterans and Families who sacrifice their lives to pay portion or all their medical bills. FFVHS is trying to bring awareness to the community that not every Veteran is receiving 100% support from the VA and the families need help closing the gap.

Services

Homebound Nutrition

  • TANF qualified Veterans, and Disabled families
  • Complete nutritional food boxes delivered twice per month
  • Must submit an online request to enroll

Case Management Services

  • Provide in home assistance with filing VA claims (We are not Certified VSO)
  • Connect families with local community services.

Light Home Improvement

  • Provide light housekeeping, internal residential painting
  • Provide lawn care (mowing, pulling weeds)
  • Provide light home improvement and repairs
